Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Europe, Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on iOS in Europe showed varied performance trends according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps demonstrated a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $387 in late August. Weekly downloads began at 565K, gradually declining to 431K by the end of September. Active users decreased from 102.3M to 99M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a steady download rate, starting at 240K and ending at 171K by late September. Weekly active users showed slight fluctuations, peaking at 20.9M in late July before settling at 19.1M.

Polarsteps Travel saw a rise in downloads early in the quarter, reaching 158K in late July, before declining to 76K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 2.1M in early August and decreasing to 1.4M.

Google Earth maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight peak of 87K in mid-August. Active users increased to 2.2M in early August before declining to 1.8M by the end of the quarter.

2GIS: Offline Map & Navigation had stable download numbers, with a slight peak of 85K in mid-September. Active users showed a gradual decline from 6.5M to 6.4M.
